How to Book a Custom Portrait
Step 1: Send me your photo
Choose a clear, high-resolution photo of the person, pet, or subject you'd like drawn. The better the photo, the more soulful and detailed the portrait.
Step 2: Choose your size
Select your preferred portrait size (A4, A3, digital only, etc.). Let me know if you have a deadline, special request, or want to add multiple subjects.
Step 3: Pay 50% upfront
Once we agree on the details, I’ll send you payment information. A 50% deposit is required to start your portrait.
Step 4: I draw the first half — and send a preview
When I’ve completed the sketch and first shading (around halfway), I’ll send you a preview.
✔️ If you're happy, I’ll continue.
❌ If you want changes, this is the perfect time to let me know.
Step 5: I finish your portrait — and send the final preview
Once the artwork is finished, I’ll send you a full preview for final approval. When you're satisfied, you'll pay the remaining 50%.
Step 6: I send your artwork!
You’ll receive your portrait as a high-resolution digital file and physical artwork. Ready to be printed, framed, or gifted.

For example, my recent Staffordshire Bull Terrier portrait took me over 21 hours to complete, using only high-quality Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. Every layer, every stroke, every fur line was lovingly built up over time — not just to capture appearance, but to bring out soul and spirit.
